Drill Dynamics Instructor and Cadet Seminar

High quality, customized drill training, attendee will gain insight into the creation, building and sustaining of a successful drill team. The camp will include both cadets (10 per school), and JROTC Instructors, on best practices, and strategies for all drill phases will be included such as: inspection, regulation, exhibition, and color guard.

Jungle Disk interns will work with industry mentors researching, analyzing, and problem-solving cyber security issues. Assignment topics include business, marketing, entrepreneurship, technology, and cyber security.

LOTC Spartan Nation Camp (Career & Technology Education)
The summer camp for LOTC Cadets and STEM students in grades 6th-8th grade is designed to introduce learners to DRONE technology by learning about its history and uses for current military/civilian operations. Students will have an opportunity to go through training via a flight simulator and also code a drone to achieve assigned flight paths.
This camp is only for students enrolled in the Longfellow LOTC program.

In preparation for this innovative opportunity Cyber PTECH will host a Summer Bridge experience. During summer bridge students will learn and develop skills for successful completion of the Texas Success Initiative Assessment is reading, writing and mathematics. Students will collaborate with industry partners on cybersecurity ventures, as well as participate in fun enriching activities with their peers.

Housing students in dorms, eating their meals at the college cafeteria, allowing students to experience a genuine college life.

This is an intense week for designated SAISD boys sponsored by Department of Texas American Legion and selected by the local American Legion Post. This event is conducted on a college campus affords statesmen the college experience. The Boys Statesmen are taught all forms of Texas government from city, county, and district, and state. After the compressed instructions statesmen, practice and participate in all phases from filing a petition to run, campaign, vote, and execute the office. The statesmen elected to the house and senate function as those bodies to include writing and voting on legislation. During the week Boys State conduct a parade from University to the Capital, hold an official joint session in the house and explore the building. The week is ended with a closing ceremony.
