RISE! Math Summer STEAM Camps 2-5
These summer camps will empower students to become independent learners and problem solvers by engaging them in a high-interest camp that foster creativity and innovation. Students will immerse in STEAM and engineering design processes to solve problems. Students will learn about and experience examples of failures and persistence that lead to successful designs and innovation. Students will learn about the power of perseverance, helping them see their true potential and how they can change the world around them.
Date: June 10-21 / Monday-Friday / 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Location: Graebner Elementary, Highland Hills Elementary, Highland Park Elementary, Margil Academy, Maverick Elementary, Neal Elementary, S. King Elementary, Washington Elementary

Math in Your World
During this fun, engaging and hands-on course, students will explore the mathematics around them and within their world in ways they have never thought of before! Students will no longer wonder, "Where am I ever going to use this?" During this 10-day course, students will explore patterns as they learn about land animals, sea creatures, germs, acrobats, sports and fractals and will make deep connections to the mathematics around them. Students will engage and reinforce key concepts and build mathematical fluency through problem and project based learning as they deepen their knowledge of functions, equations, inequalities and algebraic expressions. .
